Rejoice News
Rejoice is taking part in a new group set up by Ian Bushell of the British Council in Chiang Mai .
British Charities Thailand for the Needy provides a forum for
groups to exchange information and share resources. Eight organizations
are already involved. A presentation by Ian on Foundation status - official Thai
government recognition - was included in the first meeting.
The second meeting was held on 10th March at the Foundation for the Disabled and each representative explained more about what their organization does. Lloyd Fountain attended with Steve for Rejoice.The group is already proving useful and can grow from here. The next meeting is to be at the Rejoice house next month.
Staff
Tommy has spent a month as a monk in a City Temple at his home in Nong Khai Arm, a Chiang Mai native, has joined the team, he is 17 years old and has already shown a skill with computors and designed a form for registering children in need of sponsorship.
Volunteers
Rejoice has recently entered an arrangement with Cultural Canvas & My Pro, agencies which provide volunteers. You can still contact Rejoice direct if you wish to help.

Milk Fund
In addition to the contributions from the Australia/New Zealand Women's Group, long-standing Rejoice helpers "The Singapore Club of Thailand" will be having a fund-raiser and also getting more milk with the money.
