SWAT the bug!
SWAT stands for the Support the War on AIDS Team - it's the silly acronym we came up for our Mobile Support Unit. Every day, we send teams of trained medics out to poor and often inaccessible villages, where they provide basic medical services and nutritional supplements to individuals infected with the HIV virus. 
These are communities far from any medical facilities. Even if our patients were able to travel to a doctor or hospital, many are not covered by Thailand's national health insurance scheme - because many are refugees from Burma or other neighboring countriers, and cannot get any assistance.
By joining the Mobile Support Team, you wil be paying for the diesel fuel and medications that we use to keep people alive and help entire communities recover from the scourge of HIV/AIDS.
